Real Madrid knocked back in bid for THIRD Liverpool title winner
Liverpool lost Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid earlier this summer. And the 15-time European champions have also got plans to sign Ibrahima Konate.
Should no contract renewal be agreed between the Frenchman and his current club, then Liverpool might have no choice but to sell him during this transfer window.
According to the latest reports, the 26-year-old would favour a move to Madrid. The Reds would be against losing Konate on a free - following the template set by Alexander-Arnold.

It would be difficult to accept seeing the centre-back lining up alongside Trent in the Madrid lineup but Madrid are set to be frustrated in the chase for a THIRD Liverpool Premier League title winner.
Real Madrid love Alexis Mac Allister
Alexis Mac Allister, 26, is strongly desired by new Madrid coach Xabi Alonso.
Having witnessed his side’s demolition against Paris Saint-Germain in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-finals, Alonso has decided that Madrid’s priority ought to be a new deep-lying playmaker.
Rodri is first choice, according to a new report in Defensa Central, but is seen as out of reach by Madrid decision-makers. The players also favoured by Alonso are named as Vitinha of PSG and Liverpool star Mac Allister.
Alexis Mac Allister valued at €100m
The problem for Alonso is that his club have no intention of recruiting a €100m midfielder this summer.
“He believes it's necessary to bring in a playmaking midfielder who can bring more quality to the midfield,” the report reads.
“The most popular players are Vitinha and Mac Allister, but it's almost impossible for Real Madrid to sign them.
“Madrid isn't currently willing to invest more than €100 million in a central midfielder.”
Alexis Mac Allister not for sale
Although not for sale, Mac Allister’s transfer value has been estimated at €100m should any team be interested in adding the Argentina international.
At a peak age and under contract until 2028, Mac Allister is going NOWHERE soon and that should be taken as a big boost for the Reds.

Mac Allister played 49 times for Liverpool last season - establishing himself as an on-field leader - and remains a key part of Arne Slot’s system for the seasons ahead.
So Madrid can try all they like, this is one Liverpool star they won’t be getting their hands on.

why is it that Real Madrid think that their players are all valued at ÂŁ100m plus and everyone else's players are not. Mac Alister is worth as much as any Madrid player (What have their superstar's achieved this season). NOWT.
