Liverpool defender now CONSIDERING Wrexham deal
Ambitious Wrexham are gearing up for an assault on the transfer market as they prepare for life in the Championship.
The Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney-owned side are back in the second tier for the first time in over 40 years having been promoted from League One last season.
Wrexham have already signed one former Liverpool player during the off-season in goalkeeper Danny Ward and have also got plans to add a current Reds’ performer.

There is plenty of transfer interest in Owen Beck this summer - with Liverpool signing Milos Kerkez as their new first-choice at left-back.
Owen Beck tipped to leave
The £45m man’s arrival pushes Kostas Tsimikas and Andy Robertson down the pecking order - and leaves the future of Beck, 22, in doubt.
The Welshman has been linked with plenty of teams already - including Rangers and Sheffield United.
Beck spent last season at Blackburn Rovers to great effect - building up his reputation. And with Wrexham having got the player firmly in their focus, it’s now been claimed by WalesOnline that Beck is “considering” the move.
Beck is the one Wrexham would like
The Hollywood team want a new left wing-back and Beck can certainly fit the brief.
“So Owen Beck, we mentioned that situation, that is the left-wing-back they would like,” said Nathan Salt on the Rob Ryan Red Podcast, in comments reported by the Wrexham Insider.
Beck played 24 times for Rovers last season - earning plenty of praise along the way - before injury curtailed his campaign in April.
The Reds’ left-back is out of contract in 2026 and so a loan deal wouldn’t make much sense unless a new contract is lined up too. Richard Hughes would therefore protect the club from a transfer fee perspective.

If Beck is to impress next season out on loan, either he could be sold to a potentially interested club or else arrive back at Anfield as competition and cover for Kerkez when Robertson’s contract will also be at an end.
