Liverpool get green light for EXTRAORDINARY Michael Olise deal
Liverpool solved one of their biggest contract issues just before the end of last season.
Following almost a full campaign of uncertainty, top scorer Mohamed Salah was signed to a new deal until 2027.

It put to rest any rumours linking the Egyptian King with a move to Saudi Arabia or another destination with his previous terms expiring in 2025.

Now Liverpool can plan for their Premier League title defence with the 33-year-old very much in mind.
Bayern desperate for new Olise deal
However, given that Salah will be 35 by the time the new deal ends, it would be appropriate for sporting director Richard Hughes to be watching the market closely for successors.
One of the biggest names to emerge in recent weeks has been Michael Olise. There appears to be genuine fears at Bayern Munich that the 23-year-old playmaker could be ready to make a move two seasons on from joining.
Olise, now an established France international, left Crystal Palace for around ÂŁ50m - and now looks like becoming one of the best players in the world.
Speculation is mounting that Bayern will offer a new deal to Olise before the end of the season - with his current terms stretching to 2029 - in a bid to secure his future.
A bid for Olise CANNOT be ruled out
Whether they will have success or not is unknown - as Olise would surely like to test himself at one of the best teams in the Premier League sooner or later.
It’s also been debated if Olise has a release clause in his Bayern contract.
Reports have conflicted over the existence of this supposed clause - and it’s clear that if Liverpool have got ambitions to sign Olise then they will probably have to breach the £100m mark yet again.
And TBR Football’s Graeme Bailey claims that an Anfield move for Olise next summer CANNOT be ruled out at this stage given how ruthless Hughes has been in the market this year.
Nobody is beyond Liverpool's reach
The sporting director moved mountains to sign Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak - proving that when the right target is on the horizon then Liverpool will stop at nothing to get the deals done.
“It would take some huge money to get him – I don’t see him being available next summer, but never say never, when you are a club who can attract Isak and Wirtz in one window – nobody is beyond your reach,” he writes.
“Reports stating Olise is already earning in excess of £200,000 a week are not accurate, but Bayern wish to offer him more than the reported figure in a new contract.”
