Liverpool plan talks for £43m Real Madrid forward after Yan Diomande deal
Liverpool are still plotting big changes up top this summer.
We’ve seen Mohamed Salah move on - agreeing to rip up his £400k per week deal one year early.
That opens a gap at right wing - with Bradley Barcola the favoured candidate to arrive. The 2024/25 Premier League champions will still need to meet Paris Saint-Germain’s asking price - currently set at £145m.
If that price doesn’t come down we could see the Anfield side move on to other targets.
Liverpool looking at Endrick deal
And now one intriguing opportunity has sprung up according to a report in Fichajes. Because Richard Hughes and Andoni Iraola are viewing Real Madrid’s Endrick as a market opportunity as Los Blancos move closer to a deal for Yan Diomande.
That will restrict the 20-year-old’s game time even further with the Brazil international forced out on loan to Lyon in Ligue 1 last January.
The left-footed attacker could be available for around £43m - an unbelievable price for a player of Endrick’s pedigree and potential.
Endrick available for €50m (£43m) - unbelievable deal
“Liverpool have taken the initiative in this summer transfer window and are prepared to make a formal offer of €50 million to sign Endrick, a 20-year-old centre-forward,” the report reads.
Endrick excels as a centre-forward - which would give Iraola an alternative to Alexander Isak while Hugo Ekitike remains injured.
And Lyon used him as a right-sided forward last season - meaning that he could also provide an option out wide.
Club-to-club talks pencilled in for Endrick
“Although the Reds' scouting department doesn't see the player as a direct replacement for Mohamed Salah due to his tactical characteristics, the Merseyside hierarchy values him as a market opportunity,” the report reads.
And we may see a deal agreed for Endrick in the next few days with the report claiming that club-to-club talks have already been pencilled in.
“Liverpool and Real Madrid's boards will enter into formal talks in the final days of July 2026 to structure the transfer payment. The Brazilian has emerged as a new market opportunity,” the report reads.
“If the written offer of 50 million euros is sent before the start of August, the striker will travel to England to undergo medical examinations and sign his new contract before the official start of the season.”
