Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike are the two looming into focus - with one or the other now expected at Anfield before the summer transfer window ends.

But there is further scrutiny with Luis Diaz and Federico Chiesa reportedly among the candidates who could leave. Both played their part in the Premier League title win last season - although Diaz had a much bigger and more significant role.

Ben Doak worth at least £25m

Together they could earn the club close to £100m - very useful money when it comes to conducting another assault in the market.

Liverpool also have the option to cash in their £25m chip in Ben Doak. The 19-year-old was the subject of transfer interest from Ipswich and Crystal Palace in January but neither attempt reached the asking price.

But now it has emerged that the Scotland international is WILLING to leave the club this summer. Premier League suitors are queuing up for the wide man - who succeeded on loan at Middlesbrough last season.

Forest and PSV join the Doak chase

The Express has named Nottingham Forest as interested - with the Tricky Trees requiring a replacement for £55m Anthony Elanga, who has joined Newcastle.

“With a vacancy open on the right wing, bosses at the City Ground have identified Doak as one of the options to fill it,” the report reads.

Forest join the likes of Bournemouth and Everton on the list of possible destinations for Doak - but the Express has ALSO named overseas parties in PSV and potentially interested teams in LaLiga.

Ben Doak open to leaving Liverpool

“It is understood that the youngster would be open to leaving Liverpool after enjoying his first taste of regular football with Boro last campaign," the report adds.

“And the Reds would be open to selling Doak for a large sum, thought to be at least £25m.”

Doak will find himself behind Mo Salah once again next season if he remains at the club - while Jeremie Frimpong has also been added as a right-wing option.

Now it’s over to interested parties - including Nottingham Forest and PSV - to work out a deal with Liverpool. That in turn will swell Liverpool’s coffers - and the club could use it on a new centre-back or else any other position Richard Hughes believes needs attention.
