Liverpool are now at risk of LOSING two vital members of their 2024/25 Premier League title-winning team for free.

Ibrahima Konate, 26, looks set to move on from Anfield at the end of his current contract - which expires in summer 2026.

Richard Hughes has so far been unable to come to an agreement with the Frenchman - who is on the wishlist once again of Real Madrid.

And then there’s Andy Robertson.

Liverpool knock back Spurs bid for Robertson

Liverpool fans were left surprised back in January when it emerged that the Reds were considering a sale of the 31-year-old.

Tottenham were ready to pay £5m for the Scotland captain - who is keen for more first-team football ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The deal fell apart owing to the club being unable to re-sign Kostas Tsimikas from Roma. So Robbo stayed put at Anfield - with his deal also expiring at the end of the season.

Spurs may well come back in for the left-back on a free transfer - with Robertson having fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Milos Kerkez on a £40m deal from Bournemouth.

Robertson opens talks with Celtic

Aston Villa and Newcastle have also reportedly come forward with interest for the defender - whose contract is worth £160k per week on Merseyside.

But a report in Sports Boom now claims that a return to Scotland could be on the cards - with talks now OPEN between the national team captain and Celtic.

The Bhoys are known to be Robertson’s boyhood club - and he spent time there as a youth before embarking on a senior career at Queen's Park and Dundee United.

“Talks have already begun between Robertson’s representatives and bosses at Parkhead, where Robertson was at the academy between the ages of nine and 15,” the report reads.

Robertson has been at Anfield since 2017 - coming on board for £8m in a deal from Hull City. Since then he has established himself as an all-time favourite in Red - winning two Premier League titles, the Champions League and many more other major honours.

There is a chance however that he will be offered a new deal at Anfield but it remains to be seen whether Robbo accepts the terms - and reduced squad role - on offer.
