Liverpool have reportedly enquired about Lyon winger valued at €20 million

Liverpool could make a move for Lyon winger Rayan Cherki, according to L’Equipe, as cited by RumorsTransfersNews24/ on Twitter.

The report states that the Reds are interested in signing the 18-year-old. The report further adds Cherki's future is currently uncertain.

The Frenchman's contract expires in the summer of 2o23. Cherki possesses a current market value of €20 million.

Cherki is a fine young talent. The winger has found the back of the net nine times and registered 10 assists in 60 appearances for Lyon's first-team.

Cherki has also been averaging a WhoScored player rating of 6.64 during the 2021-22 campaign.

Therefore, we would not be against Liverpool making a move for the Frenchman.

Also, as we have already pointed out, Cherki is only 18 years of age. The forward's career is only just beginning.

Cherki would be a long-term investment for the club. But, only time will tell if the Reds are genuinely interested in the youngster.
