What happens next is unknown, but the club is busy and that means we're on the brink of something.
Plenty of money has been thrown around already this summer, but we've been reassured that there's more to come, and that is an exciting proposition when you consider we haven't made many sales.
The most recent update regarding the club's business is that a meeting has been scheduled with a European giant for a potential transfer, and given the current rumours, this is a huge development.
Negotiators begin talks for mega deal
The deal in question is for Luis Diaz to move to Bayern Munich, with the German giants interested.
An approach has already been rejected for him, with Liverpool reiterating the 'not-for-sale' stance, but rumours are suggesting that there is a fee that could convince the Reds to sell - around €100m.

But reports from Germany are suggesting that a meeting has been scheduled to begin serious talks.
Christian Falk took to X on Saturday and said: "There will be a meeting between Bayern and Liverpool for negotiations for a transfer of Luis Diaz soon. The poker Poker is influenced by the transfer of Hugo Ekitike. Liverpool FC is preparing a mega offer of €100m for Ekitike. Should Liverpool get their desired player, they can invest the transfer fee of Diaz."
Previous reports about Liverpool's admiration of Hugo Ekitike claimed that 'the money won't be an issue' when referring to the Frenchman's £86m (€100m) release clause, so it is unlikely that a deal to sell Diaz will have any influence on an approach for Ekitike, but the incoming fee would be useful.
Liverpool's spending so far this summer has been significant and bringing the net-spend down is going to be important, but we knew the club had ambitious plans and so more incoming transfers might be on the radar, if the fee for Ekitike has already been budgeted for ahead of time.
None the less, the important detail appears to be that a meeting has been scheduled, which signifies that Bayern are serious about their intent to sign Diaz, unlike Barcelona who had a limited budget.
The Reds' are clear in their valuation of the Colombian and convincing them to sacrifice their profit margin is going to be difficult. Richard Hughes is playing hard ball and Bayern might well pay up.
