Winger is now DESTINED to join Liverpool
One winger is destined to join Liverpool after after a recent appointment by the club.
It's a simple fact that coaches and managers trust players with whom they have worked with before. That's why some players just end up following certain managers in an endless merry-go-round.

Now Liverpool are not the club to always grant what the manager wants. There's a recruitment team in charge of transfers who ultimately make a decision together.
Behind them there are also a number of scouts and data analysts whose job is to find the best players suited to the club's needs.
Yet there are times when these elements come together to find the perfect player for Liverpool, and in the coming years this might be the case for Igor Paixao, who may be destined to become a future players for the Reds.
Paixao famously played under Arne Slot at Feyenoord featuring in 81 games under the new Liverpool head-coach. Last season the Brazilian winger enjoyed his best campaign yet making 37 goal contributions in 47 games for the Dutch side.
This saw Paixao being linked with a number of clubs, including Liverpool.
At the time speaking to Globo Esporte, Paixao even addressed those reports:
"I only see this on social media. (The fans) don't want me to leave Feyenoord, but it doesn't depend on me. Together with my agents and the board of directors we will decide the best path to follow," he said.
"I’m listening and watching on social media. A lot of people are always tagging me and asking: are you going to Liverpool? I don’t know anything, I’m just waiting. But Dutch football is really cool. The intensity is what makes it different."
Paixao also went onto praise Slot: "He also helped me when I arrived, in my development, and I felt like I was helping him. It's good that everything worked out. He did an exceptional job with our squad. I just have to thank him and wish him success at Liverpool. He will be missed, but he has to keep working."
In the end he signed for Marseille and will instead now face Liverpool in the Champions League. But this move doesn't necessarily rule out a future transfer to Anfield.
Especially after Liverpool appointed Luiz Fernando Iubel as an individual development lead coach. The Brazilian coach actually worked with Paixao and helped him earn a transfer to Europe according to The Athletic.
So that means there are now several coaches who will know Paixao very well. Those who Slot brought over from Feyenoord and Iubel as well.
If Paixao catches the eye and performs to the same level as he did at Feyenoord in Marseille, then he's pretty much destined to join the Reds.
He's the kind of versatile attacker Liverpool are looking to add to Slot's ranks and he could be a really impactful option off the bench.
This is a player to keep a close eye on. Right now, it feels like his destiny is at Anfield.
