Video: Virgil van Dijk attempted the crossbar challenge prior to Porto clash

Liverpool defeated Porto 2-0 at Anfield earlier this week.

Thiago Alcantara and Mohamed Salah were the Reds' goalscorers on the night.

Before the aforementioned Champions League group stage clash got underway, Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk completed the crossbar challenge.

As you can see in the footage below, the Dutchman hit the crossbar with ease. Van Dijk is a superb passer of the football.

The 30-year-old has completed 90.7 percent of his passes in the Premier League this season. Therefore, we weren't shocked to see Van Dijk deliberately hit the crossbar before the clash against Porto.
