Richard Hughes to line up dream Liverpool swap deal
Liverpool could be about to line up a dream swap deal in order to further bolster their options.
Richard Hughes will not be getting any rest during the last two weeks of the summer transfer window. He's just completed the signing of Giovanni Leoni, and he's still working on a deal to sign Alexander Isak and Marc Guehi.

But the duo may not be the last two signings Liverpool make. Given the number of departures in attack, with Liverpool losing three senior attackers and potentially Ben Doak and Federico Chiesa as well, Arne Slot definitely needs more options.
Right now, he's got just Hugo Ekitike, Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo available. Rio Ngumoha could fill in when needed. He's shown he's ready for that kind of challenge but he's also still very young and Liverpool should not need to rely on him.
Of course, Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong could also play in those attacking roles but why would you want to play your marquee signings out of position?
The reality is that Liverpool need another attacking addition even if Isak were to sign. The good thing is that Liverpool are looking at the market and exploring their options.
DaveOCKOP reported that Liverpool are considering a move for a winger thought to be around the £60-70m mark.
There aren't many wingers who are in that price region. But there is one winger who could fit the bill of what Liverpool are looking for.
Ideally, the Reds want a versatile and young winger - someone who can play on both flanks.
The best option for this role might be Antonio Nusa. He's only 20-years-old but he has a lot of experience playing both as a left and a right-winger. In fact, at times in his career he's even played through the middle.
Liverpool scouts have been keeping an eye on him for a while.
He was tracked at Club Brugge and was someone Liverpool scouts had liked. Last season, Liverpool scouts also kept an eye on RB Leipzig a lot with Nusa one of the players on the club's radar.
He probably won't cost as much as £60-£70m, especially because Liverpool have a good relationship with the German side. In the past, they've signed Ibrahima Konate and Dominik Szoboszlai from the club.
There is also the possibility that Hughes could line up a swap deal here. Anfield Watch understands Harvey Elliott is wanted by RB Leipzig this summer.
So, why not propose a deal that works for everyone? Elliott for Nusa. It's a transfer that makes sense. In Nusa, Liverpool get a rapid winger who suits what they need. Meanwhile Leipzig get a player in Elliott who they've been trying to sign all summer.
