The redevelopment of the Anfield Road End stand is coming along nicely.

As you can see pictured here, elevator shafts are now being installed.

It was announced back in December 2021 that the club would be expanding the Anfield Road End stand.

Once the redevelopment is complete, Anfield will be able to hold 60,000 spectators.

Anfield Watch Verdict

It is brilliant to see that Fenway Sports Group, the club's owners, are expanding the Anfield Road End stand.

The more spectators than can enter Anfield, the better. The atmosphere is already brilliant. But, we do expect it to improve once the capacity is brought up to 60,000 (current 54,000).

We look forward to seeing how the stadium looks once the expansion is complete.
