There was no Premier League football to watch last weekend due to the international break.

However, not every club footballer has been caught up representing their country in the past week.

Liverpool centre-back Joel Matip (retired) and Manchester United defender Raphael Varane (injured) decided to spend the international break relaxing in Dubai.

With the Premier League resuming come Saturday, both players were spotted leaving Dubai for the United Kingdom on the same plane.

There is a huge rivalry between Liverpool and Manchester United. Therefore, it must have been awkward for both Matip and Varane to be sitting on the same plane.
