Liverpool will be in the mix if one of Europe’s most promising playmakers decides to move on from his current club.

Kenan Yildiz, 20, is the brightest star at Juventus - the Italian giants who are enduring another frustrating season. Head coach Igor Tudor has already been SACKED - with former Italy manager Luciano Spalletti recently coming to the club.

The Old Lady sit FIFTH in Serie A and are in real danger of tumbling out of the Champions League having failed to win any of their first four fixtures.

There are contract problems to solve over Yildiz - the young Turkish international that Juve would like to plan around for the future.

Juve want new deal for Kenan Yildiz

His current deal expires in 2029 with the Serie A titans determined to extend it further into the future and no doubt give the attacker a pay rise into the bargain.

The problem for Juve will come if it seems that Yildiz is outgrowing the club. Although he’s only 20, he is already showing the kind of form that would see him start for plenty of teams in Europe and in the Premier League too.

Liverpool are ready therefore to take advantage of Juventus’ current poor state - and offer Yildiz a platform more suited to his talents.

That’s according to a new report in Football Insider - which claims the Premier League giants are now circling for the Juve No10.

Liverpool to tempt Kenan Yildiz

“It’s no surprise that there won’t be any shortage of interest in Yildiz, one of the most highly regarded young players in Europe,” the report states.

“Juventus are trying to do everything they can to keep hold of Yildiz. He’s under contract until 2029 but talks are ongoing about extending that and giving him fresh, improved terms as well.

“It’ll be more than Liverpool who’ll be interested. You’ve got Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United are all big admirers of the Turkish international.

“They are quite confident that he will sign new terms at Juventus to stay there. Juventus are quite optimistic that he will sign a new contract.

“But as I said, if Juventus don’t improve or become regular winners of competitions, and not show the ambition that Yildiz wants, there will be a load of Premier League clubs who will be willing to tempt him into a move to England.”

Germany-born Yildiz has been at Juve since 2023 - joining from the Bayern Munich academy. This season the Turkey international has got three goals and four assists in 14 matches overall.
