Liverpool Transfer News: Striker jets out to COMPLETE mega-move
Liverpool are on the verge of another big-money deal. A striker is flying out today to complete the move.
Liverpool continue to be busy in this transfer window as they near another big-money sale. This comes shortly after Luis Diaz left the club.
Diaz has signed for Bayern Munich for around £65m. It made him one of the biggest sales in Liverpool's history - and now they're set to complete another one.

Darwin Nunez will almost certainly sign for Al-Hilal after Liverpool agreed a fee with the Saudi Pro League side. The Athletic reports a deal worth around €53m before add-ons has been accepted on principle.
Now Nunez will fly out to Germany where he'll undergo a medical for Al-Hilal. If that goes to plan, everything should move forward on the sale.
And with that, we get a finale to one of the most talked-about signings of recent times at Anfield.
Darwin Nunez to leave Liverpool
Nunez arrived with enormous hype at Liverpool after a brilliant season at Benfica. He was one of the most promising forwards in football - one who seemingly had it all.
He’s quick, strong, happy to run with the ball, can get on the end of chances consistently and has all the energy you’d want in a modern forward. If he could fix his finishing to find the net consistently, you’d be looking at one of the world’s best.
That was the scenario when Liverpool signed him in 2022. The problem is that three years later, Nunez is still all of those things and the scenario is pretty much identical.
The upturn in his finishing never arrived, despite him inexplicably scoring some of the most difficult finishes we’ve seen from this squad. Nunez just can’t do it with any consistency and that’s why Liverpool wanted to move on this summer.
A move to Napoli failed to materialise and once it was clear that Al-Hilal would pay the asking price, AC Milan stood little chance of getting a deal over the line. Saudi Arabia it is, then - even if we did want to see him continue in Europe.
