Rodrygo AGREES to leave Real Madrid and confirms which club he wants to join
It appears as though Rodrygo Goes has got no future at Real Madrid. The 24-year-old looks set to be squeezed out of the club as Xabi Alonso makes use of his other attacking options.
The new Madrid coach has got to keep Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham and Arda Guler happy - and it’s not going to be easy to drop new hotshot Gonzalo Garcia either.

Rodrygo therefore could be the odd man out with Madrid ready to cash in this summer. Under contract until 2028, the Brazil international will command a hefty fee.

He has got no shortage of Premier League suitors - with Liverpool in the mix along with Arsenal and Manchester City.
Liverpool linked with Rodrygo since 2019
The Reds’ interest in Rodrygo is long-standing; he was admired while still a teenager back at Santos but opted to move to the Bernabeu rather than Anfield in 2019.
Now though he faces a Madrid crossroads. The club are determined to move on with other attackers and Rodrygo’s sale could bring in plenty of transfer income.
It was previously reported that Rodrygo had decided against joining Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr as he wanted to remain in Europe.
Now comes a report in AS that suggests Rodrygo has selected his next destination.
Rodrygo wants Arsenal move
The two-time Champions League winner is now said to be open to the idea of leaving Madrid so long as he has a big say in who he joins next. And it’s emerged that Arsenal are the team he is most willing to join in a crushing transfer blow to Liverpool.
The Gunners could sell Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard this summer - freeing up space for the versatile Rodrygo on either side of their attack.
“Rodrygo would not object to his departure as long as he can choose his destination, and that's where Arsenal shines,” the report reads.
Shouldn't Rodrygo choose Liverpool?
Quite where a move for the Brazilian to the Emirates leaves a deal for Noni Madueke is anyone’s guess.
A more sensible decision for Rodrygo would be to consider Liverpool. It’s well known that he’s got admirers in Liverpool’s higher echelons and his versatility is sure to buy him plenty of game time.

If the Reds manage to attract decent fees for Luis Diaz and Federico Chiesa then they would have no issue in making room in the squad - and the budget for Rodrygo.

I don't know why LFC does things the hard way sometimes....just do an exchange deal with Konate for Rodrygo!!
Luckily, AS literally generate complete BS all the time so a move to Liverpool is still very likely
