Liverpool are celebrating an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen over the transfer of Florian Wirtz. It looks as though the club-record deal will soon be confirmed - with the Reds paying an initial £100m for the 22-year-old and another £16m due in bonuses.

Following that, Liverpool will wrap up a deal for Milos Kerkez. The 21-year-old Bournemouth left-back is expected to cost between £40m and £45m.

That is a huge outlay - and spells trouble for one of Liverpool’s current options in the position. Andy Robertson admits his future remains in doubt. The 31-year-old has got one year on his contract and looks set to slip behind Kerkez in the pecking order.

Kostas Tsimikas, meanwhile, is younger than Robertson at 29 and has a further year on his deal. That means the Greek stopper could be worth MORE to sporting director Richard Hughes in this summer’s market and seems destined to move.

Tsimikas tipped to leave this summer

Previously links have included Barcelona and Leeds United - while Olympiacos are also keen to bring him back to the club.

Now it’s emerged that TWO other Premier League sides are keen on the 29-year-old, who won’t be short of potential landing spots following his performances in this title-winning season.

Along with interested overseas clubs, Tsimikas can include both Wolves and Nottingham Forest among his suitors. That’s according to a report by the Mirror, as per DeadlineDay on X.

Wolves and Nottingham Forest want Tsimikas

“Kostas Tsimikas is likely to leave Liverpool this summer, with interest from Wolves, Nottingham Forest and abroad,” the report reads.

Forest are seeking to strengthen ahead of a European campaign next season - with Wolves looking for a replacement for the outbound Rayan Ait-Nouri.

Tsimikas has been with the Reds since 2020 - joining from Olympiacos in Greece. He has never really come close to making a case that he can take over from Robbo in the long term.

The defender has always remained in Robertson’s shadow - although last season he was relied upon to play more. He ended up appearing in 18 Premier League matches overall - making nine starts.

Getting a decent fee in for Tsimikas would then go a long way towards helping the Reds fund moves for other stars in this window.
