Liverpool have agreed to sign the best young player in the Premier League
Liverpool have agreed to sign one of the best young players in the world.
No, it's not Florian Wirtz. Although, he is also up there for that title. After all the German international has established himself as one of the faces of the Bundesliga at just 21-years-old.

Wirtz's arrival is exciting but there is another name who is as equally exciting arriving at Liverpool, and he is also one of the best young players in world football at the moment.
We are talking about a player who arrives at the club with Premier League proven qualities. Someone who has shown he can be the best player in the Reds' very own division and has been recognised for it as well.
Liverpool don't make these types of signings often but already this is proving to be a special summer, and now there is another special new face to welcome to Anfield.

We're talking about Milos Kerkez of course. Everything has now been agreed and the Reds have unveiled him as their new signing.
Kerkez comes with two years in the Premier League. In his debut season he played more minutes than any other U21 defender in the league.
In his second season, he had provided eight goal contributions and earned a nomination for the PFA's Young Player of the Season award.
The fact that he was nominated alongside the likes of Myles Lewis-Skelly, Morgan Rogers and Dean Huijsen shows he is up there with some of the best young players in the Premier League.
He was one of six nominees voted by his fellow peers and if he's one of the best young players in the Premier League, then he's the best in the world as well.
The Premier League is one of the best, if not the best, competition in Europe, and therefore the world.
Kerkez is still only 21-years-old and there are few players with his pedigree in world football who are the same age, and who have been nominated for similar awards.
Liverpool have played a blinder here, bringing him to the club and securing his future. He's so young he could eventually establish himself as one of the best players in the world, too.
And he's got at least a decade of being able to play at the highest level for Liverpool at the very minimum.

That's the kind of signing we love to see, and that's why Liverpool have spent big bucks on him. They are investing for not just the present but the long-term future.
