Liverpool FC News: Arne Slot confirms more transfers are COMING
Liverpool are still very much a team in transition, despite their success from last season.
The reigning Premier League winners achieved their crown with a number of cracks having been papered over and extensive work was required in the transfer market to fill in some of the gaps.

One of which was Luis Diaz at left-wing whose future was on thin ice and Darwin Nunez had to be replaced after three years of disappointing goal returns. They were straightforward outgoings.

Furthermore, Andy Robertson's time as starting left-back was over and Trent Alexander-Arnold's intention to leave on a free meant that a more dynamic replacement for him could be considered.
And then we've got the heartbreaking loss of Diogo Jota's passing, which has shaken the club to its core over the last six weeks. Four starting players needed to be replaced this summer and even despite a £300m spend this window, we're inclined to believe that more players are still to arrive.
Arne Slot hints at further recruitment
Sunday afternoon was the Community Shield which the Reds sadly lost on penalties to Crystal Palace, after a 2-2 draw in full-time, and the fans have reacted in a few different way to the defeat.
Attacking wise, the players looked incredibly dangerous and while the stats don't necessarily reflect that, the fans were off their seat countless times. The potential we have there is scary to be honest.
Meanwhile, the defence was shaky and Palace took full advantage of any mistakes, securing a penalty equaliser after Virgil Van Dijk had a brain-fade in the box. With just two senior centre-backs currently fit, we already knew there was a problem, but it was further reiterated throughout the game.
The penalties were dire and mistakes were made by both sides, but the Reds simply couldn't put enough of them away, with three of the five misses coming from our side. The win wasn't to be today.
But prior to the game, Arne Slot spoke to TNT Sports, and revealed our intention to stay alert throughout the last three weeks of the transfer window, suggesting we might see more incomings.
He said: "I think we have more than enough options that can play there [centre-back] but as this club has always acted, if we see a chance in the market, we will not hesitant to take it."
Of course, the options that Slot has in mind were previously revealed to be Ryan Gravenberch and Wataru Endo, although the former of the two was absent from today's Community Shield game.
As such, the performance certainly suggests that Slot might now be a little bit more willing to go back into the market to fill in the remaining gaps, even though we were already alert.
Hugo Ekitike's goal was impressive in the opening minutes, but once he was substituted, the team lacked the presence of a striker and as mentioned, we're another injury away from a defensive crisis that will plague us throughout the season. It'll be a big few weeks for Alexander Isak and Marc Guehi.
