Video: Steven Gerrard appears in Aston Villa kit for first training session

Steven Gerrard officially became the manager of Aston Villa last week.

As you can see in the footage below, the former Red took his first training session at his new club yesterday.

Gerrard was a fine servant for Liverpool. Between 1998-2015, the Scouser made 710 appearances for the club's first-team.

Therefore, it is always strange to see a Liverpool legend wearing the colours of a different team.

But, we wish Gerrard all the best with his new job. Once a Red, always a Red.
