Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes that the Reds can't afford to fall further behind Manchester City in the coming weeks if they are to challenge for the 2021-22 Premier League title.

Liverpool sit in second-place on the Premier League table. The Reds are three points behind league leaders Manchester City.

We completely agree with Carragher's aforementioned opinion. The reality is, the Citizens have won three of the past four titles and are the clear favorites to claim another.

Therefore, if Liverpool don't keep the pace with Manchester City, then they definitely won't challenge for the 2021-22 title.
