Video: Injured Liverpool first-team player steps up his recovery

Back in September, Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott suffered a serious ankle injury against Leeds United at Elland Road.

It has been reported that the 18-year-old could make a return to football in the early parts of 2022.

As you can see below, new footage of Elliott has emerged on Instagram. The Englishman appears to be recovering well from his injury, which is obviously great news.

It is a shame that Elliott suffered such a serious injury. We never like to see any Red injured.

The midfielder averaged a WhoScored player rating of 6.59 across Liverpool's opening four Premier League matches of the 2021-22 campaign.

The aforementioned figure highlights that Elliott was playing reasonably well at senior level before his injury. But, we all know that the youngster will find his feet again.
