Liverpool forward Sadio Mane started for Senegal against Togo at the Stade de Kegue last week.

However, the 29-year-old was substituted 28 minutes into the aforementioned World Cup qualifier.

Mane appeared to have picked up an injury against Togo. However, the winger trained with some of his Liverpool teammates at the AXA Centre this week, which does highlight that he is fit.

Mane has been exceptional for the Reds in the early parts of the 2021-22 campaign. Liverpool's No.10 has scored eight goals in 15 appearances.

Therefore, it is good to see that Mane has returned to Merseyside fit. The Reds needs him out on the pitch.
