Arne Slot to UNLEASH new Liverpool winger
Liverpool have a lot of options in their squad to utilise and sometime players get overlooked.
The recruitment department has crafted an insane amount of depth for Arne Slot to oversee this season and the variety of different dynamics available to exploit is nothing short of remarkable.

At least two players are available in each position and most of them can play more than one role.
Conor Bradley's absence towards the end of pre-season and Jeremie Frimpong's injury against Bournemouth in the opening game meant that Dominik Szoboszlai was tasked with covering at right-back, a role he has excelled in over the last few games, getting nominated for Player of the Month.

As such, the more attacking of Liverpool's actual right-backs might now be unleashed in a new role.
Frimpong to play at right-wing?
Between himself and Bradley, the Dutchman is certainly the most attacking, and least comfortable when it comes to defending, of the two. As such, an opportunity has arisen out of nowhere.
When it's necessary for Szoboszlai to return to midfield, which you would expect he will do eventually, a right-back will have to be deployed and Bradley is the natural player to come in.
In Sunday's contest against Burnley, the Hungarian kept his place in the hybrid role, but the immediate substitution is likely to be adding a full-back into the mix. If Frimpong isn't given the go ahead in these scenarios, when the obvious move is to deploy him where he's most comfortable.
That would be at right-wing, since Liverpool don't operate a 'wing-back' system, and Mohamed Salah would not necessarily be replaced, but more supported by the change, we'd have more depth.
Federico Chiesa is currently the Egyptian's understudy, but he too can play in a couple of different ways, perhaps getting a go as a centre-forward when Hugo Ekitike departs, since it has been confirmed by today's lineup that Alexander Isak will not play any role in the team until he's ready.
The notion of Frimpong playing as a winger isn't revolutionary. It was speculated that he could perform such a role when Salah departs for AFCON during the winter, spending four weeks away.
He scored 30 goals during his time at Bayer Leverkusen, alongside delivering 37 assists. Given he's not a forward player by trade - more an attacking hybrid instead - they're impressive numbers.
Of course, this isn't necessary writing off Frimpong's chances of playing as a full-back this season, he will be given the role at times throughout the campaign, but Slot has stumbled upon a genius move with putting Szoboszlai in a defensive role, which might have forced a change in plans.
