Meet Liverpool's INCREDIBLE 15-year-old wonderkid who is better than Rio Ngumoha

There's another special 15-year-old talent hiding away in the club's academy.

Liverpool have a really good youth set-up right now. The club's future is in safe hands with a plethora of young talent coming through the ranks.

We've seen Rio Ngumoha write history this season with his stunning winner against Newcastle United. He's very much regarded as the next best thing to emerge from the club's youth set-up and one of the best young players in England.

Ngumoha's one vs one ability and the way he is able to take multiple players on at the same time makes him one of the most gifted players coming through the ranks.

He's not the finished product by any stretch of the imagination. But you don't expect him to be having barely turned 17-years-old.

If he continues to develop he can become one of the best wingers in England. The truly terrifying thing is that he's not the only special talent at the club.

There's another prospect who could become even better than him.

Let us introduce you to Joshua Abe. At 15-years-old, he became the youngest ever to score a goal for Liverpool's U18 side earlier this season.

So far he has made five appearances for the club at U18 level and he has four goal contributions in those matches, averaging a goal or assist every 92 minutes on the pitch.

For England, his numbers are just as good. He has four goal contributions in five games for the England U16 national team, and three goal contributions in six games for the U15 team.

An incredibly fast player, Abe's left-foot is a huge weapon. Despite only turning 15-years-old in the summer, he's only one goal contribution away from matching Ngumoha's total numbers (5) at U18 level for Chelsea and Liverpool.

And he's done that in five games, whereas Ngumoha managed that in 19 total matches.

Now that's not to say Ngumoha is not a great talent. He's just a different sort of player. The type of player who isn't the complete product in front of the goal.

But his one vs one ability still makes him a huge asset on the pitch, because he draws defenders away and creates space for his teammates.

Abe's a bit more of a refined player in front of goal. His game is more about speed and directness and he looks like a player ready to play at a higher level already.

That's one of the reasons why he could become even better than Ngumoha.

It's also why Liverpool absolutely have to tie him down to a new deal. He's yet to agree to scholarship terms with the club and has interest from elsewhere but there's a concentrated effort on making sure he stays at Liverpool.
