50-goal striker undergoing medical at Liverpool
Liverpool are expected to complete a deal shortly. A 50-goal striker is completing a move right now.
Liverpool have been pushing to sign strikers all summer. They've already got one, of course: Hugo Ekitike.
The Frenchman has signed for the Reds on a long-term deal after they paid Eintracht Frankfurt around €80m. And there's more to come.
Alexander Isak is the big one. Liverpool are eager to sign him from Newcastle United and are willing to pay an awful lot of money to make it happen.
Potentially, they'd pay double what they did for Ekitike in order to get the Swede. He's viewed as the ultimate option as a centre-forward and the best possible arrival in the role.
That pursuit will go on and we'll see what Newcastle United do. For now, Liverpool are completing a deal for another striker - this time for their youth team.

Liverpool to sign Will Wright
It was reported recently that Liverpool had agreed to sign Will Wright from Salford City. The 17-year-old is viewed as one of the brightest prospects in English football after breaking through to the senior level last season.
The Athletic now reports that all is agreed between clubs and player, with Liverpool beating Arsenal in a £200k deal. Sky Sports’ Luca Bendoni joins them in that - he claims a medical is happening on Tuesday ahead of complete confirmation.
Wright is a bit of a coup for Liverpool. They’ve made a habit of signing incredible youth prospects whenever they pop up over the last few years, with Rio Ngumoha being a prime example of that a year ago.
Trey Nyoni is another Liverpool moved for and who should break into the first-team setup fairly soon. Wright is seen to be of that calibre and there’s plenty of hype.

He bagged 450 goals at youth level - an incredible number that underlines his standout ability. This one is only a matter of time, then.
Wright will be signing for Liverpool and this is just the beginning. You’ll be hearing this name for years to come.
Rest in peace, Diogo Jota.
