Liverpool offered WORLD-CLASS striker
Liverpool have been offered a truly world-class striker. He's theirs if they like the deal.
There's no question that Liverpool want to sign a striker this summer. The Reds struggled to find the right frontman last season, after all.

Neither Darwin Nunez nor Diogo Jota managed to offered the kind of consistency Arne Slot wants up top. Nunez simply isn't able to put the ball in the net enough, while Jota isn't available, playing just around a third of Liverpool's total Premier League minutes.
And so this summer is about finding the right one. The club don't want to bring in someone who struggles in the same way - they want absolute proven quality.
Which creates problems, of course. Those strikers are few and far between, with the certainties costing a fortune.
Liverpool would love Alexander Isak. He'd also cost £150m.
But maybe there's an easier way to sign a world-class striker. Liverpool have certainly been offered one.

Liverpool offered Victor Osimhen
Reports in Italy claim Liverpool have been offered Victor Osimhen. Not simply told they can have him, either - the deal has been laid out.
Journalist Valter Di Maggio makes the claim, talking to Radio Kiss Kiss (as related by Area Napoli).
“The English club wants Osimhen and Napoli from this point of view does not make any discounts on the clause, therefore asking for €75m as per the contract," says Di Maggio.
“The sporting director of the Neapolitan club, Giovanni Manna, has tried to ask for information for the two Reds forwards, namely Darwin Nunez and the Italian former Juventus player Federico Chiesa.
“Liverpool would have opened up to Napoli by proposing an equal exchange between the players involved in this operation.
“Aurelio De Laurentiis, however, has other ideas and is not listening: the president of the blue club is asking for Chiesa, Nunez and €20m for Osimhen’s registration.”
So there's the twist here. In order to sign Osimhen, Liverpool must give them Chiesa, Nunez and around £17m. Which is an awful lot.
At the same time, any money from Chiesa and Nunez would almost certainly go to fund a striker. The hope would be that their combined wages paid for the new forward's salary, too.
Liverpool, then, have some thinking to do. Osimhen would now be the easiest deal to complete as they're already in talks with Napoli.
But is he the one? We're not so sure. Liverpool would kick themselves if they completed this one and then found out Newcastle United were willing to sell Isak.

That's why we think there may be a pause here. It's a delicate situation, though, as the Reds would love to sell Nunez and Chiesa to Napoli. We're just not 100 per cent certain they'd want Osimhen in return.
