Liverpool are pushing for several deals right now, which is quite amazing given they've somehow signed off on five already. It's not even July for another week.

Jeremie Frimpong, Armin Pecsi and Florian Wirtz are now Reds, while Caoimhin Kelleher and Trent Alexander-Arnold have both left the club. Five should be seven by the end of next week, too.

Milos Kerkez is expected to wrap up his Liverpool transfer shortly. It's reported on Sunday that Jarell Quansah will leave, too, as Bayer Leverkusen agree a deal for the centre-back.

Seven deals before July is insane, really, but it gets madder than that. Liverpool have so many potential deals on the table that two interesting swap deals have now presented themselves.

Liverpool's swap deals

Liverpool's discussions with Napoli have reportedly opened the door to a swap deal. The Italian champions are after Darwin Nunez and Federico Chiesa.

But the Reds' own interest in Victor Osimhen has apparently led to Napoli asking for the a swap. Osimhen in one direction, with Nunez, Chiesa and €20m heading in the other.

That's all according to Journalist Valter Di Maggio, who told Radio Kiss Kiss about the potential deal (as relayed by Area Napoli).

And that's not all. Liverpool have interest in Marc Guehi. The Crystal Palace captain has one year left on his contract, with the Reds feeling he may be available for a reduced price.

TEAMtalk claims there's interest in the opposite direction, too. Palace are after Ben Doak, who they tried to sign back in January.

Liverpool, then, have an opportunity to use that interest as a way in for Guehi. Palace will be a little more likely to let Guehi leave if they can secure a target in the process.

Now, we don't expect any of these to be literal swap deals. Those kinds of moves are incredibly rare and complicated.

Instead, you get 'effective' swap deals. Both teams agree sole negotiations with one another for the players, even if the deals are technically separate.

And that's exactly what might happen here as Liverpool look for efficient ways to get even more deals done.
