Two more medicals BOOKED as Liverpool aim to strike late deadline day deals
Liverpool reportedly have two more medicals booked as they look to strike deadline day deals. The Reds are having a busy one.
Liverpool kicked off the transfer deadline by agreeing a fee with Newcastle United for Alexander Isak. The Swede should now complete a move to Anfield before the day is out.
With that, Liverpool would secure their no.1 target not just for the deadline but for the entire window. A long, draw-out saga that finally has a happy ending for the Reds.

But they're not done there. Liverpool want to complete more deals before the deadline shuts in what's been the craziest transfer window for a very long time.
In fact, as Isak undergoes his medical on Merseyside, two more medicals are booked in order to complete deals with Liverpool. The deals just keep on coming.
Two more medicals
One in, one out for Liverpool, this. The Reds have a medical booked in London for Marc Guehi as they hope to find a full agreement with Crystal Palace in the next few hours.
Guehi only has one year remaining on his contract, of course. A cut-price deal is firmly on the cards and Liverpool just require the go-ahead to get it over the line.
That's not the only major deal today, either. Harvey Elliott is now in line to join Aston Villa on an initial loan with an obligation to buy.
That should secure Liverpool £35m, albeit next summer. A medical is now booked, per Fabrizio Romano, and things should move quickly.
An incredibly busy day on Merseyside, then. Liverpool should complete three major deals, with two long-term targets arriving and a long-term player departing.
