Liverpool set to get MAJOR Alexander Isak news soon
Liverpool will get their Alexander Isak news shortly. The Reds refuse to give up hope on the Newcastle United star.
Liverpool have wanted Alexander Isak to be their new no.9 since at least January. The Swede's form has been remarkable over the last two years, cementing himself as a truly elite striker.

Why wouldn't Liverpool want that? The Reds have struggled to find a reliable centre-forward since Roberto Firmino, with neither Darwin Nunez nor Diogo Jota filling the void.
The problem, then, is that Liverpool are far from the only ones who want Isak. And most importantly, Newcastle United want Isak.
They're incredibly hesitant give him up, especially after qualifying for the UEFA Champions League once again. Isak is their star player, their most valuable asset, and one who can carry them the furthest.
But they're also not 100 per cent keeping the forward. Newcastle have enormous ambitions and will struggle to meet them while hindered by Premier League PSR rules.
Selling Isak, though, fixes those issues and gives them incredible room with which to upgrade their squad. They're simply battling with the difficult question of whether the squad is better with Isak or with the money they could spend if they sold him.

Liverpool to get Alexander Isak response
Liverpool have not given up on signing Isak. That's despite Newcastle's reluctance to do a deal and the fact he'd cost a record-breaking amount.
At the end of the day, Newcastle might actually agree to sell the player and if that's the case, Liverpool get their answer very soon.
The only reason Newcastle might sell Isak is to fund a massive squad upgrade this summer. But that upgrade can only happen at the start of the window - wait too long and the players won't be there that make selling Isak worthwhile.
Thus Liverpool will get an answer shortly. This one can't rumble on all summer as it benefits neither team for it to do so.
Liverpool plan on selling Nunez, for one. They must sign a striker but fail to get Isak after a long wait and the top alternatives won't be there anymore.

We don't envisage a long wait, then. If Liverpool are to sign Isak, we'll find out shortly.

Sure you’ll get MAJOR news soon. It’ll be a huge NO on a banner on a plane. Newcastle have room to keep him and improve the squad, and are only 2/3 years away from breaking loose from PSR and really flexing its muscles as the richest club in the world (20/30x richer than City and Villa).
