Liverpool have promoted an exciting super talent ready to explode onto the scene and follow in the footsteps of Rio Ngumoha.

The emergence of the club's 17-year-old over the past few months has been the rare shining light of a bleak period for the Reds.

Ngumoha has now proved he is a genuine first-team option, showcasing a fearlessness and technical quality that defies his age and is superior to some of the club's current options.

Undoubtedly, his breakthrough moment came in the Premier League against Tottenham at the weekend. On a bleak day for Liverpool, he delivered a stunning full debut performance despite the game ending in a 1-1 draw.

Ngumoha completed all seven of his attempted dribbles - an extraordinary 100% success rate - making him the first player in the league this season to achieve such a feat with that volume of take-ons.

It was a display full of confidence and attacking intent, repeatedly driving at defenders and injecting life into Liverpool’s attack.

No one can dispute the Man of the Match recognition he received afterwards, which is not bad for his first ever start in the Premier League.

What makes Ngumoha’s rise even more impressive is how quickly he has adapted to senior football. His direct style, close control, and composure have immediately translated into senior football.

If this trajectory continues, Liverpool may have a superstar on their hands. But he is not the only one catching the eye.

Liverpool have a lot of exciting young players in the academy, and among them one of the best up and coming players is Joe Bradshaw.

The youngster has nine goals in eight matches for the club's U18 side and has started to make regular appearances at U21 level as well.

Now he has received recognition for his good performances in the current campaign with a promotion to the senior team.

Bradshaw participated in the club's training session on Tuesday afternoon ahead of Liverpool's crunch Champions League encounter with Galatasaray.

It's a huge moment for the 17-year-old but one that he very much deserves. Bradshaw is another super talent in the club's academy, who has what it takes to become a special player.

Bradshaw is quite tall for his age, and has always been a more developed player. In fact he made his debut almost two years ago for the U18s when he was just 15 years and three months old.

This makes him the fifth youngest Liverpool U18 player in the U18 Premier League. He's also the fifth youngest player to play for the Reds in the UEFA Youth League at just 16 years and fourth months old, beating Harvey Elliott, who was 16 years and five months old when he made his debut.

Bradshaw is a wide player, he's comfortable with both feet and can play on the left and the right. One of his most impressive qualities are his technical skills.

Bradshaw has a really good ball striking technique and he can find the back of the net from inside and outside the penalty area. He averages a 25.6% goal conversion rate for Liverpool's U18 side so far in his career as per Wyscout. He's also capable of scoring from set-pieces.

This makes him a dangerous player anywhere in the final third. His production backs this up as well, Bradshaw has averaged 0.80 goal contributions per 90 minutes in his U18 Premier League career so far - this in a struggling side that finished second from bottom in the league is very impressive.

His technical qualities also translate to Bradshaw's one vs one quality. He's very effective in tight spaces and can get out of tricky situations even when he's surrounded by multiple defenders.

Again the numbers back this up. He's averaging 4.12 dribblers per 90 minutes and he completes 62% of his dribble attempts.

Given how much Liverpool have struggled in one vs one situations this season, Bradshaw could be another astute addition to the first-team.
