Liverpool are in line for a record deal after a club president admitted a sale is now probable.

FC Midtjylland president Claus Steinlein says a 'Danish record sale' is likely as his club prepare to move on some of their biggest stars, per Sport Witness. It's a situation that will almost certainly involve Liverpool.

La Tercera reports that Dario Osorio is likely to be one of those moved on. The forward has been linked with a move to Anfield for years now - could this finally be the year?

In all, three stars are expected to be in line for this record sale. Osorio, Franculino Djú and Aral Şimşir have their suitors and Liverpool reportedly scouted the club twice earlier this season.

It seems they certainly have their eyes on a potential deal here. The current Danish transfer record stands at £21m, so at least one of those sales are expected to eclipse that.
