Florian Wirtz is finding this out as we speak. He's struggled to make an impact in the games he has played so far. There are just too many things you have to be focused on.

You have to work tirelessly off the ball but then you also have to operate well in tight spaces and be comfortable receiving the ball with your back to goal.

Not many players can do that at an elite level. Dominik Szoboszlai showed glimpses of his quality but even the Hungarian wasn't perfect in that position.

Wirtz will get there with time. He will learn to be exactly what Liverpool need because he is a world-class talent.

But Liverpool's production line is already preparing the next generation of players ready to succeed the German international.

This season, an exciting prospect has been promoted to the club's U18 team in Aiden Yeguo.

He actually made his debut for the club's U18 side last season when he was just 15-years-old and became one of the youngest players in the Reds' history to debut for the club at that level.

But it's this season that Yeguo has emerged as an exciting prospect and someone who has quickly becoming the Reds' new no.10 at that level.

Yeguo registered two assists against Leeds United's U18 side on Saturday, which means he now has three assists and one goal in five games for the club in the U18 Premier League.

He's averaging a goal or assist every 85 minutes for Liverpool, which is very impressive. Relatively tall, Yeguo is physically imposing at this level.

He's not the biggest but he can hold his own using his body cleverly to shield opposition defenders. This makes him capable of playing with his back to goal and causing problems for the opposition's defenders.

Yeguo can often hold the ball up and link-up with his teammates in order to retain possession in key transitions.

His ability to drift to the left or the right and cover a lot of ground makes him the ideal player in this role.

Yeguo seems like he's tactically understood the essence of the position and on top of that he's got the physical and technical qualities to be a real asset in the role.

He only turned 16-years-old in August, so he's still extremely young which is why it looks like Liverpool might just have a special prospect on their hands.

Interestingly, Yeguo plays his international football for Poland, having represented the Polish U16 national team so far.

Based on his performances so far he's been one of the best players for Liverpool at U18 level and a promotion to the U19s or even to the U21s might not be far away.
