Club planning to accept deal to sell Liverpool their €35m star talent

Liverpool are actively being sought out for a €35m deal. The Reds are the preferred buyer.

Liverpool are in the market for new players after a quiet January transfer window. Of course, their winter was quiet because their summer had been so loud.

The Reds twice broke their transfer record with nine-figure deals. Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak were the two arrivals that did so - though, they haven't quite lived up to those price tags.

Still, time gives everyone hope with them and we remain convinced they'll ultimately prove to be magnificent signings. But it's clear that more work needs to be done in order to shape this squad correctly.

That means jumping back into the market this summer. Fortunately, there's at least one club actively hoping to do a deal with Liverpool.

Palmeiras seak Liverpool deal

Brazilian club Palmeiras actively hope to seal a deal with Liverpool according to local outlet 'The Football'. Allan is the player in question, with €35m the hoped-for fee.

Palmeiras want to open this kind of partnership with the Reds, having previously done with Chelsea and Real Madrid for Estevao and Endrick. There's interest in Allan from plenty of clubs, clubs offering good fees, too, but they hope to 'open another door with a strong club from Europe'.

Now, Liverpool were strongly linked with moves for both Estevao and Endrick but failed to land either. It sounds as though the move for Allan is far, far more likely - potentially even nailed on, reading this report.

The Reds are the biggest club pushing hard for the player who will almost certainly move in the summer. He also happens to play in a position Liverpool don't have covered properly - wide on the right.

Here's the Mo Salah successor, then. All signs point to an Anfield move before long.
