Liverpool forward Xherdan Shaqiri could make the move to Galatasaray come the end of the season, according to Fotomac, via Sport Witness.

Shaqiri, who signed for Liverpool from Stoke City for a transfer fee of £13 million back in the summer of 2018, has not had a great 2019-20 campaign.

The Swiss international has only started two Premier League fixtures for the Reds this season, and that stems from the fact that he has been injured for majority of the campaign. He is also a squad player at best, which has contributed.

With that being the case, it has been reported that Liverpool are set to offload Shaqiri come the end of the season.

According to Fotomac, via Sport Witness, Galatasaray could be an option for the winger.

Shaqiri has been a handy player for the Reds when called upon, but he was never going to be anything more than a squad player.

A move away from Anfield would be the best for Shaqiri’s career, as he will get more minutes elsewhere. A move might also help him with his injuries, as he will get more continuity in his body.
