Thiago on the verge of signing

As first reported by James Pearce of The Athletic, Liverpool have finally agreed to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara.

This is great news from Liverpool fans, who have been clamouring for the arrival of the Spaniard since the beginning of the transfer window. The transfer is coming to fruition as Bayern wanted the deal done before the start of the Bundesliga season.

The 29-year-old will reportedly sign a four-year contract and will wear the No.6 shirt. He is set to be announced as a Liverpool player in the coming days.

Ismaila Sarr interest

According to Dominic King, Liverpool have enquired about Watford’s Ismaila Sarr.

The forward scored five goals and registered six assists in the Premier League last season and would be a great back up option for Liverpool’s front three.

Watford would reportedly want a fee around £36 million for the 22-year-old.

Tony Gallacher loan move

Liverpool left-back Tony Gallacher has completed his loan move to Toronto FC until the end of December, looking to gain first team-experience in the ongoing MLS season.

Gallacher has impressed as a regular for Liverpool’s under-23 side and made his senior debut last season against Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup.

New goalkeeper signing

According to Goal, Liverpool are set to sign Teenage goalkeeper Pitaluga from Fluminense for a fee of £2 million.

The 17-year-old impressed when he won the under-17 world cup with Brazil in 2019. He will join Liverpool’s under-23 side when he arrives on Merseyside.
