The possible transfer of Thiago Alcantara from Bayern Munich has been the talking point in Liverpool news over the past two months, with some fans desperate to see the transfer happen.

The latest report from journalist Constantin Eckner suggests that Thiago and Liverpool have made a personal agreement. However, Bayern want €30 million for the midfielder, but Liverpool’s current offer remains €25 million at this time.

Possible exit for Rhian Brewster?

According to Sky Sports, Liverpool are considering selling Rhian Brewster on a permanent deal with the possibility of a buy-back clause.

Up to six Premier League clubs have reportedly expressed an interest in the 20-year-old, including Sheffield United, Brighton and Aston Villa.

Brewster has been at Liverpool since 2015 and impressed in his loan spell at Swansea City last season, scoring 11 goals in 22 games.

Gini Wijnaldum price tag

There has been a lot of speculation about Gini Wijnaldum’s future at Liverpool during this transfer window.

However, according to James Pearce, if Wijnaldum is to depart, Liverpool will be looking for a decent price. Pearce disputed a claim that Wijnaldum would be sold for £15million, stating that there is no chance the club would accept that.

However, according to Sky Sports, Wijnaldum has spoken with Jurgen Klopp. The Dutchman could apparently remain at Anfield. Watch this space.


Ben Woodburn loan move

Liverpool youngster Ben Woodburn is set join Dutch team Sparta Rotterdam on a season-long loan, according to the Evening Standard.

Woodburn made his Liverpool debut in 2016 and became the club’s youngest ever goal scorer in just his second appearance.

Recent years have seen the 20-year-old have frustrating loan spells at Sheffield United and Oxford United. Hopefully the move to Holland will give him a chance to shine.

Sheyi Ojo loan move

Liverpool forward Sheyi Ojo has joined Cardiff City on a season-long loan.

The 23-year-old made his senior debut for the Reds in 2016 and since then has had loan spells at Wolves, Fulham, Reims and Rangers.
