Contact made to Watford over Ismaila Sarr

Liverpool are interested in Watford’s Ismaila Sarr, according to the Watford Observer.

It has been reported that although no formal bid has been made for the winger, initial contact has been made with his representatives over a possible move to Merseyside.

The 22-year old impressed in his first year in the Premier League and Watford’s relegation could allow Liverpool to sign him for a reduced price.

The forward scored five goals and registered six assists in the Premier League last season.

Interest in Jamal Lewis

Liverpool have made a £10m bid for Norwich City’s Jamal Lewis, reports James Pearce of The Athletic.

The Reds are interested in bringing in the left-back as cover for Andy Robertson, according to the BBC.

However, according to the Telegraph, Norwich will be looking for around £20m before contemplating selling.

Thiago saga continues

Liverpool could be set to miss out on Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara, according to the Daily Star.

Paris Saint-Germain are set to spend £25 million to sign the midfielder. Liverpool are apparently not prepared to spend that much on Thiago.

Real Betis Defender to replace Lovren?

Another player who has been linked with the Reds over the past week is Real Betis defender Aissa Mandi.

Mandi could come in as a replacement for the recently departed Dejan Lovren.

Liverpool have already tabled a £9m bid for the Algerian, according to COPE, as cited by Sport Witness.

The Reds are set to sign the defender, according to beIN SPORTS journalist Hafid Derradji.

PSG interested in Joel Matip?

Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-German are interested in signing Joel Matip as a replacement for Thiago Silva, according to Kick 442.

Silva is set to depart PSG come the end of the Champions League season.

PSG manager Thomas Tuchel is said to be a big admirer of the Cameroonian. However ,with Lovren’s recent departure, it is unlikely that Liverpool will want to let another centre-half go.
