Reds centre-back Fabinho gave a foul away on the edge of the penalty area during the second half of Liverpool’s recent FA Cup clash against Manchester United.

Manchester United forward Edinson Cavani won the foul.

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes scored as a result of the free-kick. Pundit Alan Shearer believes that Fabinho’s tackle was a foul.

Pundit Ian Wright did not agree with Shearer. Wright is under the impression that Cavani made the most of the tackle.

We believe that it was a foul. Fabinho did make contact with Cavani, which means that it was a foul.
