Reds midfielder Thiago Alcantara is yet to experience the full Anfield atmosphere as a Liverpool player because of COVID-19.

However, Thiago did play in front of the Anfield faithful back in 2019 when Bayern Munich faced Liverpool in the Champions League.

Thiago said (02:41) the atmosphere within the stadium was “amazing” on the night. Thiago added (03:10) that the chants and the Champions League anthem motivated him for the match.

We are looking forward to seeing all the supporters back inside Anfield again. The Reds have not played in front of a full house since March 2020.

We miss the atmosphere the supporters are able to bring. The atmosphere gives the game more life.
