Pundit Stephen Warnock believes that Liverpool should be looking to sign Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the upcoming transfer window.

Warnock stated that Aubameyang would not cost Liverpool much in terms of a transfer fee. That is because he only has a year left on his current Arsenal contract.

Warnock said that Aubameyang would “naturally” challenge the likes of Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

Warnock believes that Aubameyang is a proven forward, which is why he would provide competition to Liverpool’s front three.

Aubameyang has also worked with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp in the past at Borussia Dortmund, which Warnock believes is a positive because they both already have some form of a relationship.

Liverpool have not genuinely been linked with Aubameyang, but there is no denying that he would be a decent signing.

Since signing for Arsenal back in 2018, he has scored 63 goals in 101 appearances for the club.
