Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that both Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson will be unavailable against Leicester in the Premier League on Sunday.

Klopp says that it is clear that both Alexander-Arnold and Henderson will be injured for the game against Leicester, after suffering injuries in the last couple of weeks.

Alexander-Arnold is due to be out for the next three weeks after going off with a calf injury against Manchester City just before the international break.

Joe Prince-Wright shared the clip to Twitter, with Klopp speaking in his press conference ahead of the Leicester match.

Henderson, meanwhile, was substituted at half time against Belgium for England last weekend. The Liverpool skipper returned from international duty earlier this week and missed England’s win over Iceland, with Henderson now due to be absent against the Foxes as well.

Klopp does not, however, reveal when he expects both of them to be back in action. Liverpool play Atalanta in the Champions League next week and it remains to be seen whether either of them will be able to feature.
