The 0-0 draw between Liverpool and Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday was quite boring to watch.

That was simply because Liverpool could not score. However, the passing of Liverpool centre-back Joel Matip throughout the game did give us something to admire.

As you can see in the footage below, the Cameroon international looked so comfortable on the ball against Everton. He had no problems advancing up the pitch with the ball at his feet to try and start an attack.

Matip finished the match with a pass success percentage of 93.4%. That highlights how well he was passing the ball against the Toffees. He was a joy to watch.
