Former Red Jamie Carragher and former Red Devil Gary Neville have provided the public with some hilarious reaction to Liverpool’s victory over Manchester United.

The Reds defeated arch-rivals Manchester United 2-0 at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday thanks to goals from Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah. Liverpool possess a 16-point lead at the top of the table with a game in hand.

Carragher and Neville, who both work for Sky Sports, were forced to sit next to each other throughout the 90 minutes, as they were commentating on the match.

It was a great day out for Carragher, but not so much for Neville, who reacted angrily to many key moments throughout the game.

After all the years of pain Liverpool have gone through, it is only fair we get our revenge. Manchester United were so good for so long, but that is no longer the case.

In saying that, it is incredible how professional both Carragher and Neville stayed throughout the match despite the fact they are proper supporters of their respective teams.
