Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has analysed Andy Robertson’s recent performance against Manchester City.

Liverpool lost 4-0 to the Citizens at the Etihad Stadium last night. However, the result is basically irrelevant, as the Reds are the champions of England.

But, that did not stop Neville analysing the performance of Liverpool’s left-back.

Neville believes that Robertson played like someone who has “been out on the lash”. I personally did not like Neville’s analysis, and I’ll explain why.

Everyone knows the Liverpool players have been enjoying themselves recently.

There is footage of Liverpool’s title celebrations all over social media. Liverpool just won the Premier League title, so the players are entitled to enjoy it.

The likes of Robertson and company still prepared for the match against Manchester City. However, the players are coming off such a high, which means the clash against Manchester City was always going to be tough.

Robertson clearly was not at his best against Manchester City. That particular statement can be backed up by the fact that Robertson finished the match with a player rating of 5.62. But, it is not the end of the world.
