Liverpool goalkeeper Adrian made a superb pointblank range save against Ajax in the Champions League last night.

Liverpool won the group stage clash 1-0 at the Amsterdam ArenA courtesy of an own goal from Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico.

However, things could have been different without Adrian.

During the first half, Ajax put together a good move. The move ended up with Ajax forward Quincy Promes getting a shot away from pointblank range.

However, Adrian stuck out his right leg and made a great save. Adrian finished the match with a WhoScored player rating of 7.86, which does suggest that he did play quite well.

The video below of Adrian’s save aired on Sport Premium 2, but it was uploaded online by Streamja.
