Both Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren have officially departed Liverpool Football Club.

Lallana has signed with Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion. Lallana became a free agent when the 2019-20 Premier League season ended.

Lovren has signed with Russian side Zenit St. Petersburg. Liverpool have received £10.9 million for selling the Croatia international, according to the Guardian.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp announced that Lallana would be departing the club at the end of the season a few weeks ago. With that being the case, it is no real shock to see the Englishman sign for another club.

Lovren’s move to Zenit St. Petersburg is definitely more newsworthy, which means that it will be the topic we discuss in our verdict.

Lovren made 185 appearances for Liverpool. He scored eight goals and registered five assists.

We don’t believe that Liverpool will miss Lovren. The Reds won the Premier League title this season without the Croatia international consistently contributing.

He only made 10 appearances in the Premier League this season, which highlights that Liverpool were playing well without him.

We do wish both Lallana and Lovren all the best for the future.
