Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has sent a message of support to Harvey Elliott over his ankle injury.
The youngster was on the end of an unfortunate challenge that left his ankle out of place – though thankfully onrushing medical staff could quickly get it back into its correct position.
He now faces a road to recovery, and Alexander-Arnold has sent him this message:
Trent on Harvey Elliott:
“He is an amazing player, an amazing person, and I'm sure once he's had a bit of time to recover he'll be able to hit the ground running and get on with his recovery. It's tough." #awlive [lfc] pic.twitter.com/f74rgCwP8U

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
Elliott is a top young player and it was a shame to see how his game ended.
Now the road to recovery begins but he is in the best hands and it hopefully won’t be long until he is back in the fold.
