Swansea City have enquired about Liverpool forward Rhian Brewster, according to Sky Sports.

Liverpool will allow Brewster to leave the club in January on loan providing the correct offer is put forward to the club and Brewster. The report also states that Aston Villa are interested in the Englishman.

With Takumi Minamino joining the Reds from Salzburg in January, the move would make sense for Brewster as he is clearly not in Jurgen Klopp’s plans this season. The youngster needs an opportunity at senior level.

Swansea City and Aston Villa are both decent options for Brewster. The decision on where he will go will be based on which club will give him the minutes he desires.

The harsh reality is, he won’t receive much opportunity at Liverpool for the time being. The club would benefit from Brewster going out on loan, as he would be getting minutes.

The club have more than enough depth in attack to cover the youngster, even with injuries to key players.
