Sadio Mane has called on his side to win all of their remaining league games in a bid to win the Premier League trophy.

The Reds moved back to the top of the table after beating Tottenham 2-1 on Sunday.

But with City’s game in hand still swinging the balance in their favour, Mane knows that Liverpool still have plenty of work to do if they’re to achieve major success this season.

“To be honest I think we need to win all of the games, even if it will not be easy,” he said.

“But we still can win every game because we are a good team and we play very well.”

On the importance of his role in Liverpool’s title push, he added: “To be honest I don’t know because we have a few more games to go. But it’s a good sign.

“That’s what makes you more motivated and makes everyone say ‘Let’s go, we can do it’ so I think it’s always important.

“This is a very good sign and I think everything is possible so let’s do it and win it.”

On not scoring against Tottenham, Mane added: “That’s football; sometimes you score, sometimes not. It can happen.

“But we don’t forget that it’s all about the team. When the team is winning, that’s more important.”
